The Interherb-Kalmil Plus is the concentrated variant of the well-known Kalmil cream for varicose veins which has been on the market for more than a decade. This new product contains oranic and inorganic aluminium salts, cod-liver oil ( oleum jecoris ), higher doses of milfoil and marigold oil and anti-inflammatory chamomille oil. According to researh data this product has beneficial effects on veinous diseases of the lower limbs, alleviates inflammatory symptoms and it enhances healing of bruises.

- Alleviating symptoms of varicose veins on the lower limbs
- In case of temporary straining of legs it helps to inhibit formation of varicose nodules
- in case of closed injury it enhances elimination of haematome and healing of bruises

Data concerning the effects:
It is a therapeutic supplement, the effects of which are evidenced by traditional uses and research data. Its ingredients have anti-inflammatory effect and due to this fact this product can alleviate pain, it inhibits development of oedema, enhances elimination of haematome and thus improves circulation.
What arethe active agents?
Active aents: 50 mg aluminium-potassium-sulphate (Alumen), 40 mg aluminium-acetate-tartrate solution (Aluminium aceticum tartaricum solutum), 40 mg paraffinic marigold extract (Calendulae extractum), 20 mg oleum jecoris/cod-liver-oil (Iecoris aselli oleum) / g
Materials which boost the effect: 2 mg milfoil oil (Millefolii aetheroleum), 2 mg chamomille oil (Matricariae aetheroleum) / g
What else does the product contain?
Excipients: white vaseline, cetyl-stearyl-alcohol, polysorbate 60, liquid paraffine, methyl-parahydroxy-benzoate, purified water.
What are the indications?

What are the contraindications?
- hypersensitivity to chamomille or to other herbs from the aster ( Asteraceae ) family ( milfoil, common dandelion, black wormwood ) as cross-sensitivity may occur
- open, bleeding wounds.
What should you know before application of this product?
You have to know what are the causes of your complaints. This product cannot be applied for the treatment of deep veinous thrombosis. In case of suspicion of deep veinous thrombosis seek medical advice immediately.
Can this product be applied by children?
It can be applied from the age of 3. If applied externally on intact skin no adverse effects were experienced in connection with the ingredients.
Can this product be applied during pregnancy and breast-feeding?
During pregnancy or breast-feeding if this product is applied externally on intact skin no adverse effects were experienced in connection with the ingredients.
How and when does it have to be applied?
In case of intact skin wash the affected area with soap and water then rinse it.
Apply the cream on wet skin;
- in case of varicose veins apply the cream on the whole leg 2-3 times daily and massage the cream into the skin
- in case of bruises apply the cream to the affected area 3-4 times daily
- in case of constant straining of legs apply the cream on the affected and surrounding area and massage it into the skin
What is the recommended dose?
Apply the cream in a thin layer onto the affected area
What are the adverse events?
In case of hypersensitivity to any components allergic reactions ( redness of the skin, burning-itching sensation etc. ) may occur which ease if you stop using the cream. If these symptoms do not ease or they worsen or you experience symptoms that are not included in the patient information leaflet, the therapy should be terminated and you should seek medical help.
Other important information:
To avoid unpleasant symptoms keep the cream away from open, bleeding wounds and avoid contact with eyes. In case the cream contacts the eyes, wash it with excessive amount of water and seek medical help. Do not use the product after the expiry date.
For how long can this product be applied?
The product should be applied for the treatment of varicosity continuously only for a month. After taking a 2 or 3-week-long break, the therapy can be continued. If symptoms do not ease or they worsen after one week of treatment, seek medical help immediately.
